In it's incipient phase, the company was started as a "sole proprietorship" that in less than one year has reached a number of 30 employees. The Company was created by Daniel Popent in Toronto, after a career that has started in 2001 as a security guard and quickly promoted to account manager. Daniel has resigned from his position with one of the largest companies in Canada in April 2006, and started his own security guard business the same year. His previous experience in all aspects of security including armed services and valuable transportation and logistics have helped building a strong foundation for a medium but solid security business in Toronto.

Our first clients were other security companies in Ontario, Quebec and US who were looking to hire subcontractors in Ontario and service financial institutions and retail stores. Investigative services were also provided to large companies as well as general public.

Klass Security and Investigations Inc. was officially incorporated in October 2007. During it's first year as a corporation, the company has serviced numerous retail stores, distribution centres, has provided anti-piracy services to a large number of Hollywood film productions and secured long term contracts with reputable industrial facilities, residential estates and condos, as well as retail chains. In other words, our company has grown organically through our ability to deliver the services as agreed with clients and going above and beyond in ensuring our customers receive maximum protection in return for their security expense.
